Stephan G. Schneider

Stephan G. Schneider joined Figueroa-Contreras Law Group in 2017 and is the Senior Paralegal in the firm’s criminal defense department. He draws from vast experience in a wide array of state and federal criminal matters, gained from his years working as a paralegal at another well-respected Miami-area criminal defense firm. Stephan was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, and attended Saint Andrew’s School and Spanish River High School. He transferred from The George Washington University to graduate Summa Cum Laude at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Following his undergraduate study in political science, Stephan plans to attend law school.

In addition to his being an accomplished violinist and pianist, Stephan served as Treasurer and Editor-in-Chief for the FAU Undergraduate Law Journal. He has authored published manuscripts exploring the jurisprudence of the space industry, the World Trade Organization’s security exception for tariffs, and what he designates the gray area of white-collar crime. Furthermore, he was a member of FAU’s Student Conduct Board and the FAU Pre-Law University Services initiative committee. A fervent polymath, Stephan immerses himself in a variety of topics including U.S. and international politics, law, technology, and music. Stephan is Colombian-American and is fluent in Spanish.
